Who we are

Shenzhen Wolach Technology Co., Ltd., Shiyan Industrial Park, Bao'an District, Shenzhen, Guangdong 518108, China, is the data controller for personal information collected through this website.

For any privacy question or request, contact fromsouth@gmail.com. We respond to data protection requests within 30 days.

What we collect

Information you give us

When you place an order: name, email address, phone number, billing and shipping address, company name where provided, order contents and order notes.

When you contact us: your name, email address, phone number, company and the content of your message, including any photographs or video you send for technical support.

When you subscribe to the journal: your email address.

Information collected automatically

Standard server logs record IP address, browser type, referring page, pages viewed and timestamps. This is used for security, fraud prevention and aggregate traffic analysis.

We use cookies and similar storage for the shopping cart, and for analytics where enabled. The cart stores your selections in your own browser's local storage — it is not transmitted to us until you place an order.

Payment data

We do not receive or store your full card number, expiry date or security code. Card payments are processed by PCI-DSS compliant payment providers who receive your card details directly.

We receive only the information needed to confirm and reconcile your order: the transaction reference, the amount, the payment status and the billing name and address.

Bank transfers and wire payments are handled by our bank. We receive confirmation of receipt and the sender name attached to the transfer.

How we use your information

  • To process, fulfil and deliver your order, including customs documentation and carrier handover
  • To provide warranty cover, technical support and spare-parts service
  • To answer enquiries submitted through our contact and trade forms
  • To send the journal newsletter where you have subscribed
  • To detect and prevent fraud, and to protect the security of the website
  • To meet legal, tax, customs and accounting obligations
  • To improve our products and documentation based on aggregated support trends

Legal bases

Where the GDPR applies, we rely on contract performance for order fulfilment and warranty service, legitimate interests for fraud prevention and product improvement, consent for marketing emails, and legal obligation for tax and customs records.

Who we share it with

We share personal data only where it is necessary to deliver the service you have asked for.

  • Carriers and freight forwarders, to deliver your order and clear customs
  • Payment providers, to process your payment and handle disputes
  • Customs authorities, where import documentation requires it
  • Email and analytics service providers, under data processing agreements
  • Professional advisers, where required for legal or accounting purposes

What we never do

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your data with advertising networks for cross-site behavioural targeting, and we do not rent or trade customer lists.

How long we keep it

  • Order and transaction records: retained for the period required by tax and customs law, typically 5 to 7 years
  • Warranty records: retained for the warranty period plus a reasonable period afterwards for claims
  • Support correspondence: retained for 3 years, so we can reference previous faults on the same unit
  • Newsletter subscriptions: retained until you unsubscribe
  • Server logs: retained for a short period for security purposes, then deleted

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to certain processing, to receive it in a portable format, and to withdraw consent for marketing at any time.

To exercise any of these rights, email fromsouth@gmail.com. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request. You will not be charged for a reasonable request, and we will not treat you differently for making one.

Unsubscribing

Every journal email contains a one-click unsubscribe link. You can also reply to any email asking to be removed, or contact us directly.

Complaints

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, you have the right to complain to your local data protection authority. We would appreciate the chance to resolve it first.

Security and international transfers

The website is served over HTTPS. Access to customer data is restricted to staff who need it to perform their role, and access is logged.

We are based in Shiyan Industrial Park, Bao'an District, Shenzhen, Guangdong 518108, China and serve customers worldwide, so your data will be transferred to and processed in China and in the countries where our service providers operate. Where data is transferred out of the EEA or the UK, we put appropriate safeguards in place, including standard contractual clauses where required.

Cookies and local storage

Essential cookies and local storage are used for the shopping cart and for basic site function. These cannot be disabled without breaking the store.

Analytics cookies, where enabled, are used in aggregate to understand which pages and products are useful. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time without losing the ability to browse or order.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle personal data, we will update this page and revise the date at the top. Material changes affecting existing customers will be notified by email.
